A single oversized pebble pearl on a fine cord, fastened the way a shirt is — a second, smaller round pearl, set in gold, slips through a loop at the back. Two loops, so it wears close at 16" or easy at 18". No clasp to fumble, nothing to save for a special occasion — wear it to the grocery store.
